Language day

Image
Language Day is observed every year to recognize the importance of worldwide linguistic diversity and  aims to entertain and inform people about the history, culture and achievements associated with the language.   We also celebrated language day by reading a story " Fish is Fish" by Leo Lionni". After reading the story and doing activities related to it students realized that p eople do not have the exact same thoughts and feelings about everything. They have different ideas and opinions based on their experiences in life. Taking another’s perspective means trying to see things from his/her point of view. When we are willing and able to see things from another’s perspective, we can learn things we didn’t  know before. ”

Perception game

Students played a perception game which revealed how individuals perceive and interpret words and ideas differently. They were divided into groups of  four. Each group selected a word from the word box and took ten minutes to jot down what the word means to them. Then each student in the group read their definitions in a "go-round".

Welcome note

SEEING IS BELIEVING Education is a joint effort between parents and school to train the next generation of children to be independent and prepared for what’s ahead. IB PYP treats parents as partners in Educating the child and hence wants them to remain updated with the day to day involvement of their child in Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas. PYP team has revived the PYP Blog for all PYP Grades for the parents to go through on daily basis and witness your child’s growth. This PYP Blog will serve as a  platform for communicating electronically to keep in loop and update the parents about the day to day activities of our PYP students in the school. We are open to suggestions for improvement. Happy Viewing !!!
