Learning Barter system

As part of the unit : How we Organize Ourselves" Students learnt the origin and evolution of money. They did an activity in class known as , " Exchange city". They demonstrated the  process of bartering by exchanging with another child an item that is more valuable to them.  It was explained that the exchange is for real. They will not get back the item that they brought if they choose to exchange it with another child.

Role play demonstrating that Electricity is a valuable resource that impacts are daily lives in many ways.

Students were divided into two teams and they performed a role-play and demonstrated a thorough knowledge that electricity is a valuable resource and it impacts our daily lives. They  used conventions, vocabulary and terminology of the Energy Conservation's  and  made connections between Electricity Conservation, Improved Technology and environmental impact.

Learning to organize a class

A disorganized, unkempt, or clutter-filled classroom sends the message to our students that poor behavior and middling work habits is acceptable—regardless of how often or how forcefully we say otherwise. Keeping this in mind students learnt how to arrange their class , Under the theme" How we Organize Ourselves". 

Guest lecture on third line of inquiry (lets save electricity) by Prachi Adya

Inviting guest speakers into the classroom has become an important part of the education experience for students these days. In this context, what else can be better when the children get an experience to see their own parents teaching in the school they study. Students not only get exposed to the real-world life experiences from the position of someone who has been there but they also get to analyze the perspective of the guest speaker’s particular field. It provides students access to other perspectives and adds diversity to the classroom. Keeping this in mind Shauryaveer Adya's mother Prachi Adya gave a guest lecture on third line of inquiry "lets save electricity".

Goodness wins over evil, it is not only told verbally but gets practiced at Cambridge international Foundation School. An activity of Card making was held at the School of Education.
